About Sort of Seeing Someone
Women’s fiction author Emily Bond released a new novel on March 5, 2025 entitled, SORT OF SEEING SOMEONE. Known for her “voice-driven” writing, this is Bond’s first book in the popular magical realism space.
On her twenty-sixth birthday, Moonie Miller develops the mystifying ability to glimpse a person’s future by touching palms. Before she knows it, influencers launch her into the world of Insta-witches. Moonie is determined to keep her never-for-sale visions under wraps-–until she shakes hands with Olrik Zetterlind. Super cute, super analytical, and super Swedish, this tall, blond engineer is everything she never wants in The One. Opposites might attract, but how long can “Chicago’s most popular witch” and Sweden’s most analytical export really last?
“SORT OF SEEING SOMEONE is a fun, delightful story with expert descriptions of life in San Diego and Chicago. It has everything—a smart, funny heroine, an amazing cast of characters, an intriguing love story…and Witchery. Moonie’s relationships throughout the book feel so real: complicated yet hilarious.” -Angela Terry, Author of The Palace at Dusk
“I had a blast inventing Moonie’s ‘gift’ and creating a romantic connection that felt clever and real,” Bond says about her latest.
SORT OF SEEING SOMEONE is 317 pages, available in paperback and e-reader, and perfect for book clubs, poolside reading, and fans of THE EX HEX and PAYBACK’S A WITCH.
