Macrame Wall Hanging Workshop - February 20
Macrame craft for a cause benefiting Midwest Immigration Bond Funds.
Learn how to make your own geometric macrame decor in this colorful and customizable project! This is a great introduction to macrame with a few simple knots and optional weaving and square knots for added texture. Choose from over a dozen cord colors to match your own style - natural, sand, black, navy, sky blue, lavender, forest green, mint, mustard, rust, peach, and cranberry!
No macrame experience needed for this one - we will provide detailed instructions + examples. Share this link with a friend or gift a ticket to a loved one to craft together for a special celebration or just because! Solo crafters are always welcome and encouraged!
50% of tickets purchased from this event will go to Midwest Bond Funds, a Chicago-based organization covering immigration bonds for residents of, and people detained in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
"The main thing you can do to help MIBF is to donate. We are an all-volunteer organization with low overhead costs, so a lot of your donation goes directly to bonding people out. This means that we rely on donations from our community to help keep our community safe—but also that your donation can help free more than one person, as it returns to us over time."
