Marbled Paper Roses + Dried Floral Workshop - April 10
Join us for a marbled paper rose AND dried floral workshop with Odette Press at Indigo & Violet Studio!
Explore the nature of paper flowers and create your own marbled paper rose! Guided by Kelly Laughlin of Odette Press, you’ll learn about the benefits and styles of roses, explore the shape of petals, stems, and leaves, and get in touch with the materials and techniques for crafting floral paper forms, like how to dye, cut, shape, and glue crepe paper and use floral wire in order to form your crepe paper rose from stem to bloom.
Meditate on the nature of flowers and ground down into the satisfying process of making marbled roses. You'll leave with at least one marbled paper rose, bud vase, and custom bouquet of dried florals and grasses to complete your arrangement and enjoy forever!
Dig into the nature of creativity and grow your connections to nature, craft, and paper through this inspiring process.
No experience needed, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking for an inspiring, relaxing creative experience. Come alone, or bring a friend, and enjoy a night of calm and creativity.
