Join us for a summer stained glass jewelry event with Molly of Glass.Brodz!!!

For this new format of our design-your-own stained glass workshop, attendees will see a demo of each step of the stained glass-making process AND try foiling and soldering their piece. Attendees will first see the process Molly uses to create stained glass jewelry; then they will get to pick through colorful stained glass pieces and design their creations. Guests can also draw and try cutting their own glass!

With our new workshop structure, guests might take their completed jewelry home at the end of the workshop but it's not 100% guaranteed. Windchimes and any additional sanding and filing will have to be finished by Molly after the event. Please note FREE pickup at Indigo & Violet Studio or flat-rate shipping are available at checkout for any pieces that Molly is finishing.

This class will show you the basics of stained glass and let you customize your 3-piece glass charm jewelry or 4-piece charm windchime. Charms can be turned into earrings, pendants, rings, keychains, hair charms, body chains, stud earrings, or phone charms! Make a ring and a set of earrings or combine all three glass pieces into one larger composition for an intricate pendant! For reference two heart earrings = 4 pieces of glass and extra glass can be added with Molly in person for $5. Please let us know of any metal allergies/sensitivities with your order.

During the event, Molly will also have larger window hanging pieces for sale or browsing wishes. They are also happy to answer any questions folks may have about the process/artistry and custom commissions!

Meet our instructor: Molly Brodzeller of Glass.Brodz

Molly Brodzeller is a stained glass artist living in Ravenswood, originally from Indianapolis, IN. They attended Indiana University and picked up the art again once the pandemic began. After learning in high school, Molly knew they would come back to stained glass eventually - and with more time at home - they felt excited to get their hands on more glass!
