Pumpkin + plant workshop benefitting the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights.

Hands Off Chicago. We're engaging our community to raise funds for ICIRR - Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights - in our pumpkin workshops this season. 50% off all tickets will go to ICIRR and support their ongoing advocacy and policy work.

Join us for a festive succulent pumpkin project - real pumpkins and real succulents - no carving. These are live succulent cuttings that will decorate your pumpkin for the season, then take root and continue to live on long past the fall. All materials and tools will be provided including wireless glue guns. Pick between two minis or one medium pumpkin - either is a great fall centerpiece or tablescape decor and includes upcycled dried floral accents. Have the perfect pumpkin at home?! Feel free to bring it!

This workshop is great for all - plant lovers, fall enthusiasts, and everyone in between. We will provide hands-on instruction, care instructions, and a handout to refer to when your pumpkin is done and succulents are ready to plant! Sunday, October 26 - 11am-12:30pm at Indigo & Violet Studio - 1411 W. Irving Park Rd.

Here's what each project will include:

• pumpkin
• • 2 minis = 4" mini 🎃 + up to 4 succulents/each
  • medium = approx. 8" pumpkin or gourd + up to 8 succulents
• reindeer and spanish moss
• dried flowers - mostly stemless and upcycled from floral projects throughout the year or locally-sourced
• variety of succulent types, colors, and sizes

• 50% of ticket sales are going straight to ICIRR
