We're excited for a new upcycling project - trinket knolling!!!

Join Jessica of Round Two Upcyled Craft Parties at Indigo & Violet Studio on May 4th to learn about knolling and give a second life to upcycled trinkets and objects!

Knolling refers to the practice of arranging similar objects in a precise, perpendicular manner. The goal of knolling is to create a sense of order and clarity. Rather than focusing on learning a skill, you will have the opportunity to create a mindful display of color, texture & order. Calmly enjoy sifting through the piles of trinkets, oddities and discarded bits & bobs to arrange your perfect flat lay.

Your instructor, Jessica, will provide all materials including a second-hand frame, backing paper, cordless glue gun, & huge array or trinkets collected from people around the entire country. Feel free to bring your own items to either add to your own display or drop in one of the boxes for future knollers to enjoy.

Class runs two hours and all tools and materials will be provided for use in class. This project is colorful, crafty, and meditative - it's great for beginners, solo activity, or with a friend or two! No prior experience is required.

Sunday, May 4, 2025 - 10:30am-12:30pm @ Indigo & Violet Studio - 1411 W. Irving Park Rd. Chicago, IL
